One of the areas I am most proud of in our work at Beauty Despite Cancer, are the collaborations that we have with charities including Cancer Research UK, the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, Headwrappers, Mummy’s Star, Ellie’s Friends and Yes To Life, as well as many smaller charities that do amazing work with and for some fabulous people.

The work we do with these charities is extremely personal to me, and very dear to my heart. I want to do as much as possible to promote what they do, which is to provide support that’s unique, heartfelt and very much needed.

If you have ever heard me speak at an event, you will have heard me talk about the charities with whom we work. I cannot express enough the lengths they go to in order to support those going through cancer treatment, living with it and recovering from it, as well as their loved ones, who have their own journey to navigate at these challenging times.

Since March 2020 I have been working with many charities remotely (what would we do without zoom?) and have greatly enjoyed chatting with those they support. We have been talking about all kinds of things – eyebrows, nails, dry skin, scalp care, touch therapies and beekeeping.

I’d be delighted to support more charities in whatever way we can. Please let me know if there are others you think we should be working with.
