Chesterfield Royal Hospital – providing exceptional care to patients in North Derbyshire

Like most hospitals, the Chesterfield Royal Hospital provides excellent care to its patients, and its team work phenomenally hard to support individuals and their loved ones. However, it does rely in many ways on the Chesterfield Royal Charity to allow the team to go above and beyond.

The team behind Chesterfield Royal Hospital

An NHS hospital, providing care for patients in lots of different ways, Chesterfield Royal serves a population of more than 400,000 people and has 4000 members of staff as well as 170 volunteers making it work every day.

What they do to support cancer patients

The hospital offers a wide variety of services, ranging from accident and emergency to cancer screening, care and treatment and much, much more. The hospital admits around 45,000 medical emergencies each year and is vital to the North Derbyshire community. It is NHS funded, but the funds raised through its dedicated charity allow them to go the extra mile for their patients – something every individual and their family appreciates.
