Metastatic Mammas – the charity supporting parents living with Stage Four cancer

A support network for parents living with all stage four cancers, Metastatic Mammas is built on a sociable community of support.

The team behind Metastatic Mammas

Metastatic Mammas was founded by Danielle, Joanna and Sarah in 2020. Three vibrant women with beautiful young children and devoted families, they all have their own stories and have found solidarity in living with cancer.

Danielle is mum to daughter Joey and wife to Tim, and she was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer in November 2018 aged 29.  Joanna is mum to Freya and is living with stage four lung cancer, and Sarah is a mum and wife who also has stage four breast cancer. All three have had diagnoses within the last couple of years and are finding ways of coming to terms with living with incurable cancer.

What they do to support cancer patients

Active on social media and, despite the name, open to all parents living with cancer, they offer camaraderie and as a community raise funds for research projects and campaigns dedicated to beating cancer and improving quality of life for those living with it.
